Alexandria Canal Works Depot

Project:

The City of Sydney contracted Cockram Constructions to build a new depot to provide waste, maintenance and construction services for the southern city area. This facility replaced 3 existing City of Sydney depots, and accommodates 150 staff from the City’s fleet, cleansing and waste, civil maintenance and construction services.

Summit Fencing was sub-contracted by Cockram’s to supply and install all perimeter fencing and gates for the 1.7 hectare site, as well as safety bollards, internal and external storage cages, hand rail and w-beam safety rail.​

Scope of Work:

• 378LM of 2100mm high black powder coated tubular crimp top fencing
• 251LM of 1200mm high black powder coated tubular crimp top fencing
• Three single 7m cantilever sliding gates with Australian made electric motors
• One set of double cantilever sliding gates – 6.6m each with Australian made electric motors
• Seven single PA gates – two with perforated mesh infill
• Chainwire storage cages
• Hand rail for stairs and walkways
• Bollards and w-beam safety guard rail for building protection
