The Gipps Street Recreation Precinct is one of Penrith’s largest and most exciting new open spaces, transforming a former landfill into a 32-hectare hub for sport, play, and community connection. The precinct features floodlit sports fields, cricket ovals, netball courts, a large playground, youth spaces (including a skate park and pump track), fitness equipment, picnic areas, wetlands, walking paths, and an off-leash dog park—all designed for year-round use by people of all ages and abilities.
Summit Fencing partnered with Glasscott Landscape & Civil to deliver high-quality fencing and gate solutions for the project. Our work included securing key areas such as sports fields, playgrounds, and the dog park with durable, visually integrated fencing and access gates. The result supports safety, controlled access, and long-term asset protection—helping bring Penrith City Council’s vision for a vibrant, inclusive community space to life.
