The Pacific Highway Upgrade is Australia’s largest road infrastructure project. CMC was granted the contract for Stage 3, a 1.8km section between Lisarow and Ourimbah. This included the upgrade of existing 2-lane dual carriageway to a 4-lane dual carriage way with local road adjustments, three new signalised intersections, bridgeworks and adjustment of services.
CMC engaged Summit Fencing for the supply and installation of all property adjustment fencing and pedestrian fencing. Of considerable note were the long stretches of pedestrian fencing, manufactured to RMS specifications and installed on the traffic median strip, road side verge and crossings to protect pedestrians.
Summit Fencings’ large stockholding and project management ability facilitated installation ahead of schedule.
